i postet this originaly in the Forscan Forum but did not get any answer
i have a car which i want to suit Sync 3 in.
It has original Din1 Size Radio. I got Apim, ACM from an wrecked Connect with sync3.
I Connected The Apim to the Gateway on HS3Can.
Now i have to Configure the Gateway so it recognize the Apim.
How can i do it. GWM is only ASBuild Format.
GWM AB info is for the most part nonexistent. I have some AB info which I am not even sure how accurate it is, but it has nothing about APIM communications in it.
You are better off finding a model that does have what you want and trying to copy that AB info. Since you’re keeping the vehicle and year a secret from us the only thing I could guess is your missing some Canbus connections.
i have tried the asbuild from the donor Vehicle. but Forscan says
Numbers of Blocks Doesnt match. and if i try to write it says:
Writing Blocks Failed - incompatible configuration.
I attachet the vehicle information. The one with sync is a newer build year.
GWM donor car: KK3T-14F642-BA
SW Version GWM of the target car: JK2T-14F642-AC
I tried an GWM Asbuild from an 2018 Transit with Sync3 but there is no change in Values.
So i checked BCMI again. There is an APIM Network option which i set to avalible. But i still dont get APIM listed in Forscan or FDRS.
Do i have to change something else to get APIM listed?
