Just turned on the van there now and it is back on the four inch version running 3.4.22251 so looks like it did install the 2nd time ok. I didn’t do any master reset or anything yet. Everything appears to be functional.
Is there a 4 inch version of 3.4.23188 that can be installed?
Good, the unit gets confused some (most) times, and eventually it sorts itself out. You can do now a master reset just if you want to start fresh.
Remember, you can’t use Syn3updater for upgrading…
No, there’s no new version for 4 inches available here that I’m aware of, I do not know if there’s.
Bluetooth doesn’t appear to be working before or after a master reset. I might try it a few more times and see how it goes. Not sure if its a glitch with that software
What do you mean it does not work?, did it used to work?
It was still connected to phone yesterday after upgrade to 4 inch screen to my personal phone, tried to switch to my work phone to make a call but disconnected from both, tried to reconnect to either but no joy, tried master reset, no joy, turned off bluetooth on van but would not turn back on bluetooth.
Did another master reset this morning and will now connect to personal phone at least so looks ok, so far, haven’t tried work phone yet.
Whenever you do that, besides the master reset, make sure the phone forgets Sync3 as well.
