Update both Sync and Map versions

Hello
I use Sync 3.4 on a European 2018 Ecosport but I am lacking behind in build 20282 and Maps F9 version.
Which shall I update first?
Maps (F9 → F12) or
Build (20282 → 23188)

I feel that Updating both at the same time seems more tricky, so just wondering which is less pain: update first build and then maps or vise vers.

I always do both at the same time. Takes and hour for NA maps. You might be 2 hours for EU maps.

You are giving contradictory information…
Having said that, if you can reformat (not MY20 APIM) your unit do everything at once…

Here’s how things can go badly wrong, if you don’t set things up right.

Ok I see your point.
Apart from this do you think upgrading build and maps in different steps makes sense and if yes whixh is the best way to go? First build and then maps or vise versa?

Doing it in 2 stages makes zero sense, if you are confident you DON’T have a MY20 unit then use reformat method to update the whole hog in one hit.
