Update message start but nothing happens in 40 minutes

Hi!

I updated from original SYNC3 OS to 3.4.21265 some months ago, now I wanted to update again to the last version but when I power on engine and connect the USB, appears the message “updating”, but nothing has happened in about 40 minutes…

I has powered off engine, disconnect USB, power on again and SYNC3 has start normally, I hope tomorrow all will be ok too.

What I can be doing wrong? When I did the first update I think all be the same…

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
The updating message appears, but doesn’t do anything in about 40 minutes. I have power off car, disconnect USB, start again and everything has start correctly.

The problem is that I can’t update.

From the log’s perspective, unless I’m missing something, it’s ok.
You created an USB for upgrading only Sync3, not maps.
That should be quick.

With Syn3updater, create a interrogator log and post here the results. Redact your VIN from the file’s name and content if you care about it.

I want to confirm you have enough free space.

Hi!

Thanks for your replay.

Finally when I have used the car, there was a icon at top right with the arrow and the box, touching it appears the message of correct update, and the version in settings was the correct.

I had to restore it because Android Auto didn’t work ok, but then everything perfect!!

I don’t know why it’s happening this.

In few days I wanted to update maps. I hope it will be ok…
