Update sync 3 build 21194-PRODUCT to the latest ver in the UK?

hey everyone! i have recently upgraded from sync 2 to the sync 3 retrofitted by me :slight_smile:

however i want to add features like the nav repeater in forscan but the blocks only go as far as 8 in IPC? so im guessing a new firmware is required… the question is how? as the VIN for the car will have the Sync2 asbuilt? so cant do an OTA update ? im hoping cyanlabs can help? anyone? thanks in advanced

Do you mean APIM? IPC update is seperate than this…

Hey yes APIM as well as the IPc ive read my firmware is out dated so need o update the entire Sync 3 build?

or have i got it wrong and by updating the sync 3 it wont have any affect to the IPC module?

That would be correct, but not necessarily a bad thing. What kind of vehicle is it, it’s not filled out in the profile?

We would need more information about the APIM and IPC to be of help.

Sorry it’s a Ford kuga 2016 mk2 titanium

The original headunit was the sync 2 but I did the retrofit myself to the sync 3
