Update will not start/does not recognise usb

When I put my usb stick in to update my sync 3 system nothing happens. I have tried multiple usbs and am using the syn3 updater.

SYNC Region: EU

Navigation Variant: Non Nav

Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20

Install Type: Retrofit

Old SYNC Version: 3.4.21265

New SYNC Version: 3.4.23188

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

First question, if you throw a few MP3s on a USB stick and plug it into the same port, does Sync see them and let you plat them?
Second question have you unplugged anything plugged into the other USB port (even a phone charging cable with nothing plugged into it)?

Thank you for your response. Yes I can confirm that usb drives are read for media playback and there is nothing else connected to the other port.

The drive flashes intitally indicating it’s being read and then stops.

It’s a complete mystery to me.

There’s a reason as to why the template asks for a lot of information, which includes providing the log… yet users just ignore those requests…

So, provide the log as requested by the template and also create and run an interrogator log, share the produce XML as well.
