Recently switched from the 4" screen to an 8" screen in my 2015 F150… the sound equalizer and balance isn’t working, they’re stuck fully to the right and when I move them they go right back. (Full base treble mid and the speakers are set fully passenger front)

You will need to make adjustments to the APIM and ACM asbuilts. Do you have FORScan and a quality OBD adapter?
I do yep, just updated to sync 3.4 through here yesterday too.
Run the Interrogator Utility and post the XML here.
If you upgraded from Sync 1 to Sync 3:
In the ACM you will need to make sure the following setting is correct.
727-01-01 *xxx xxxx xxxx
Set for Gen 2 APIM.
Are you in Canada or US?
What model trim level is your truck?
It looks like this APIM came from a n F-150 Platinum or similar trim level with a TCU.
Your APIM asbuilt is coded for a Sony DSP, which is the issue with the sound and EQ settings. 7D0-01-01 is AA2A, needs to be changed to not indicate a DSP if you had Sync 1 before. Try 2A2A.
I see the APIM is coded for NAV. Your APIM is also coded for 4341, which if you are in the US needs to be 5553 for the NAV to work properly.

Just a 15 XL, the upgraded screen and all that came out of a 17 platinum.
I’ll try to make these changes and see what happens!
I figured it was a 2017 or so Platinum. If you get it working, take a pic or send a file of the APIM asbuilt. There are a few things that will need to be changed.

if so, you might have to adjust these to include or delete.
This is based from a 2017 F-150 XL with Sync 3. This should work without issue.
APIM - Accessory Protocol Interface Module (SYNC).abt (347 Bytes)
Load the entire asbuilt thru FORScan using the ‘LOAD ALL’ button at the bottom of the page and then ‘WRITE ALL’. FORScan will prompt you about the checksums, just accept and have FORScan write these. Reboot the APIM and see that it comes up properly.
This APIM is NAV equipped. You can update the maps thru the Syn3 Updater. Make sure you run the Interrogator Utility before you try to upgrade anything to make sure you are certain the APIM is not MY20+.

Just loaded it. Everything’s working good, minus my clock being dashed out. I also need to buy an antenna for nav to actually work- that’s the only thing that wasn’t included.
Should I change anything with the ACM?
Nope. Not needed if the audio is all working.
