USB Ports not working after 3.4 latest update

I updated my Sync 3 from version 3.0 to 3.4 last night. This morning I noticed that when I went and plugged in to initiate Android Auto, both ports would not read. Brand new cable too. They obviously worked before otherwise I would not have been able to update version 3.0. Any suggestions on that?

Not all of the older Sync 3.0 media hubs are compatible with 3.4
You’ll more than likely need to replace the media hub.

Do you think downgrading back to 3.2 or 3.0 would do the trick?

This is a dead giveaway that you have not read the instructions, so I’m going to ask a simple thing: have you master reset?.

Also, Android Auto not working does not equate to “the USB ports do not work”
