*Update: I was able to get my APIM working by doing the install several times varying the time between ignition on and the FORSCAN function to begin the install. I have the crappy “G” 2016 APIM and haven’t really worked with CANBUS but on other microcontrollers / SoCs with JTAG, UART etc that proved to be finicky I always found timing mattered. So my unofficial advice for folks that can’t get these VBF files with the G model is to vary timing as you try many attempts.

I attempted an update, SBL and Strat seem successful but the cal part fails on block 1. Trying to revert back.
