Which apim to get

Hey folks!

Kinda new to this
Tried looking them up in the apim hardware data base but couldn’t find them there.

I have the option of two units, im sure one of them is a chines one but not 100% sure?
One is
GR26A JJ5T-14G370-FCA
MFG Date: 06/11/2019

The other one
GR26A JA8T-14G370-ABF
MFG Date: 11/09/2021

Can you guys help me?

The top APIM looks like a fake. It says it’s a J series made in 2021. Those were 2018 versions. It could be a replacement one which would make it a 2020+ module so you may not want to have to deal with that. Personally, I think it’s a fake as there is no Ford logo on the sticker which they all have.

The bottom J series from 2019 looks legit and could be reformatted if needed so that makes upgrading much easier. The bottom sticker is how it is supposed to look and seems legit.

My advice is go with the bottom one.

Thats what i thought too but between …26A and the J on the bottom one, it looks like there is no space, is that normal or is it also a chines clone?
