2016 ford taurus updating to latest 3.4 but stuck on software updating

I upgraded from 3.0 to 3.2251 year ago but started having the problem of resetting every time the car starts so i tried to upgrade to the newsest version of 3.4 but i get stuck on software updating and nothing happens
ive checked my storage and have 25 gb with 4gb free

Thank you for the response so i have read those threads and have checked the storage and it was clear 25g total 4g free i ran the rw cleaner just to be safe i dont have any problems performing a master reset when go to install the new 3.4 ot just hangs on installimg software and never installs it.
Do i need to use the downgrade usb to first then try installing it or do a reformat like in the other article mentioned

Ok, then create, run and share the interrogator log output to see what it looks like. Redact the VIN from the file’s name and content if you care about that.

Oh, nevermind… I’ve just realized you are trying to autoinstall, which may be an issue with only 4gb free…

Oh, but that’s not an interrogator log, but a log for an USB creation…

About the log you provided, it looks fine…

If you are sure your unit is not MY20, you can use it…

I sent a interrogator log in my previous reply the car is a 2016 and came with sync 3.0 that I updated to 3.4 so I don’t think its 20 plus

I was able to jailbreak it with fmods and ran their cleaner I’m going to attempt to update now.

Apologies, since you are “spamming” the thread with multiple consecutive messages, I got confused with the notifications over emails and I missed the actual log.

Interestingly, the APIM is not presenting itself… the model is unknown… if you upgraded from 3.0, then we are sure you can reformat it again.

Now, you should not need to JB the unit for upgrading it, so a good thing to change is the USB you are using. We had some reports that can indicate PNY is not a good brand to use (but others had no issues).

Also, the RWDATA partition is good, so no need for the rwdata cleaner.
And 4GB should be fine for downgrading.

I finally JB and used their cleaner afterwards the downgrade and update happened without a hitch
