My 2019 Mondeo started losing settings after the car maintenance did some uppdates. The version is 23088. I tried to update to 23188 with USB but keep getting error 12.

Also tried Interrogator Log, Gracenotes Removal and RW Data Cleaner. Keep getting the same error 12. And the master reset freezes. Soft reset operates ok, but doesn’t fix my problem.

Is there anything to do, or is my Apim bad?

Happy Thanksgiving. I am having the same issue as the original poster and would love some help if possible. I am running Sync 3.4 Build 23088 (non-nav). My screen keeps going black and I can perform a soft reset to get it all back. I cannot get a hard reset to run, the screen freezes up when I hit “continue”. When I insert the USB with the latest build I get Error Code: INSTL_ERR12. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Assuming you are using Syn3 Updater post your log file.
