The current problem: When the engine is shut off during a trip (even just 5 minutes), the navigation system forgets that it had an active route AND it forgets where “Home” is and all other Navigation favorites disappear too. Weirdly, it still remembers “Recent destinations” though!
Troubleshooting: I have already used the Interrogator and verified rwdata is not full – It has over 800M free. As far as I’ve noticed so far, all other Sync features are behaving properly.
History: On my 2018 F-150, I have used CyanLabs Syn3Updater successfully several times over recent years. I’ve used several versions of 3.4 for years, but finally got so sick of the glitchy stuttering playback of many songs from USB flash drive that I reverted to the only 3.3 version I could find in Syn3Updater. Also, a few months ago we started having problem with the nav system forgetting its route and the media system forgetting things constantly (while on 3.4.23088) and it WAS caused by the rwdata partition being full. Clearing it fixed those issues then. The current problem I’m reporting is more limited and started just after reverting to 3.3.
