I have successfully updated the SYNC system on my 2017 Ford Explorer from 3.0.20204 to 3.4.19200.
Even after the update, the SYNC text menu can still be changed to Korean, but the Korean voice and voice commands are not working and only come out in English.
I even tried updating to version 20351, just in case, but the Korean voice is still missing.

Is it possible to install just the Korean voice package separately?

Thank you! All the issues have been resolved.

I used Syn3updater to create version 3.4.21265 on a USB stick. I chose the downgrade installation option and EU for the region. After the installation was complete, I deleted the voice files.

After that, I manually downloaded the voice package for version 3.2.21169 and copied it to the ‘SyncMyRide’ folder on the USB. I then edited the voice file names in the ‘reformat.lst’ and ‘autoinstll.lst’ files to match the downloaded voice file name.

When I plugged the USB stick I made into my Explorer, it successfully downgraded, and the installation of version 3.4.21265 was completed. And of course, the Korean voice and commands are working perfectly!
