Black screen after trying to update from 3.4 23088

Hello. Last year I successfully updated my Sync 3 from 3.0 17276 to 3.4 23088. This year it began being buggy, booted after hour of driving or so, so I decided to update to the last version. Got the lst err 05 and then inst err12. So tried everything - cleaning the RW memory with a special stick, etc. Now the screen shows logo when booting, but never shows any other UI elements (its glowing with dark blue, not like dead black). The last thing i tried is in the log file - waited with the engine on for about 40 minutes. Nothing. Any options here except changing tha APIM?

inst err12 is usually fatal. You will spend more time and possibly money trying to fix it rather than replace it.

Thsi build has a bug which makes the rwdata partition to become full. But that does not explain the issues you are having exactly.

So I’m more inclined to think the APIM has gone bad.
You could try troubleshooting the bug by following this guide → APIM Sync Settings Not Saving, VER_ERR08 Errors, Cannot Perform Master Reset or Upgrades/Updates (Solved)

But, again, the rwdata partition being full would not explain the issues you are seeing.
