Yes.
When you pull the unit out, you will see a sticker with that part number, but most importantly, when the APIM was manufactured. These are the 2 important pieces of information.
A J series APIM should not be MY20, but Ford started replacing APIMs with older part numbers but new hardware (MY20/+).

Correct, it’s also in my -database so MY20 checks must have been ignored.

Will this apim work with old screen?
Let’s go step by step:
- Warnings, there are plenty about MY20 hardware during the process. So yeah, there are plenty of warnings
- About your particular APIM, did you run the interrogator log and then have it processed by Syn3updater before starting or creating the USB you used for upgrading?.
If you didn’t, how can Syn3updater know what your unit is even running?.
Highly unlikely, since MY20 APIMs also changed something about eMMC which the leaked reformat tool does not handle. That would work if your APIM was older with previous architecture but the screen was newer.

The car is from 2017 MY15, I did not know that the apim was changed to MY20.
Yes unfortunately that’s why we say if you aren’t sure to click yes and run the check, you clicked no as “you were sure” this is therefore unfortunately a user error and you will need a replacement APIM
