Continuing the discussion from 3.0 to 3.4 successful but BT audio not working:

What is your SYNC Region?

Do you have Navigation?

What region is your SYNC APIM?

What was your old SYNC Version?

What is your new SYNC Version?

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

How did you update, Ford Website / CyanLabs Website / Syn3 Updater?

I can now hear my Bluetooth phone calls over my F250 speakers, hands-free!!

Brian’s solution for my situation:

Using FORScan, change the ACM AsBuilt line 727-01-01 to 1xxx-xxxx-xxzz (only change the number, don’t change other digits to x’s)

It is interesting that this value was not at 1 before, but since you upgraded from Sync 1 to Sync 3, this could be the reason. In any case, this would have solved the issue, since the audio is routed thru the APIM and ACM bidirectionally in this application.
