Cannot roll back from 3.4.26057 to 3.4.23188

Hello peeps. I would like to thank Cyanlabs for their excellent software and continued support.
I upgraded to 3.4.26057 but have since read that this is a dealer only version. I have not experienced any problems with tihs version, however I would like to roll back to 3.4.23188 since this is an official release.
I have used Syn3 2.14.2.0 and updated the current version installed to 3.4.26057 and input the new version I want to roll back to, 3.4.23188 and keep existing maps, but the Syn3 software downloads 3.4.26057 files. This was confirmed when I completed the install and noticed the version number had not changed. I also noticed that the Syn3 software shows the APPS package version as 3.4.26057 when selecting 3.4.23188.

Can someone help?

Yep, that’s known and not that relevant, as users can manually input any version.

I would also not go any higher than 3.4.23188 on a NAV APIM or 3.4.21265 on a non-NAV APIM. Ford currently has 3.4.26057 as a dealer only install to deal with a specific recall issue.

Drop your build to 3.4.23188, it doesn’t require reformat. 3.4.26057 isnt really a general release, right now Ford has it as a dealer only install.

I’m aware, that you’re not on 23188. Ford never bothered to worry about 23188 on non-supported hardware (eg G/H/J APIMs) so why would they test 26057. Builds between 21265 & 23188 are affected by the RWData partition bug Personally I’d stay on 21265 since that release was clean across all Sync3/3.4 APIMS, you should be running your factory AB.

So, for a MY18.5 Kuga what version do you suggest is the best/stable version to install?

Sorry to be a pain but I think it may require clarification so that others can understand what version is best/stable for their vehicle.

I have 3 cars that are 2018 and 26057 has worked perfect in all of them.

There is no problem going up to 26057. Many opinions but no real problems.

Same with me, no issues with my 2017 Escape.

Since we are talking about this, I agree: if you do not see any issues, why would you downgrade?.

All versions accesible through Syn3udater are official releases…

I’m not sure why you would want to downgrade, but if you really want to, you should be able to do so now…
