Most of itβs there.. thank you
Still missing controls for heated steering wheel.. and heated and air condition seats
And for some strange reason.. the heat is working on the passenger side, but not the drivers side?
would you happen to know what I am missing?
CGEA 1.3 APIM is not compatible with a CGEA 1.2 vehicle for the climate controls.
So what can I do here? Change to a different APIM? And how will I know itβs the right one before buying one from a wreck yard.
There is no such a thing as a CGEA 1.2 or 1.3 APIM. They will all work and it just comes down to AB settings.
The setting I have given you is correct and your APIM will work fine in a 2015. What F150 ment to say was that the CGEA 1.3 SETTING will not work in a CGEA 1.2 Vehicle.
I see. Thanks for the clarification. So in order to fix the problems that I am having at the moment do I need to change more codes? How do I go from here please suggest.
If it is just the seats and Heated steeringwheel than yes itβs just AB changes.
Okay, what other codes do I need changed?
Is it just these 2 things? If so thats an easy fix. Do you have AC seats also? Have you tried to troubleshoot these two already?
Yes, I have AC seats and heated seats. Unfortunately I do not know how to proceed from here in terms of troubleshoot. Any help is greatly appreciated here.
Edit: yes just those two things.
Ok, i have some work to do and than I will get you the settings you need for both.
Greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
Change this value from an β8β to an βEβ
7D0-01-01: xxxx-xxxx-x*xx
I belive that should be the last thing to solve all your issues.
That did the trick for the seats and steering wheel.
but the high I put the fan⦠the cooler air temp gets..
The setting it is in right now.. the temp is hot for the air coming out of the vents.. if I turn the fan on higher.. the air temp declines.. on max fan speed.. the air temp is cool.
Itβs almost like the higher I put the fan.. it drops the temp for some reason.. even though I donβt see it changing from high on the screen
Any idea why that would happen?
Your using the stock radio control panel right? You did not replace it with one from a 2016 or newer?
Are you using auto temp?
Do you have dual temp contol?
Did you change the HVAC module?
*Update*
Your climate AB all look fine to me. I would suspect maybe a bad Actuator.
so nothing related to codes or programming, correct?
Not that I can see. Your settings all look good for Climate Control based on the pic you posted.
I will get my carβs HVAC checked then. Thank you for the help!
