I did a retrofit on the Ford transit 2015 from noSync on Sync 3.
Everything seems to be working well except for the backlight of the control panel. When I turn on the sync without the ignition the backlight works. But as soon as I turn the ignition on or engine running, backlight of the control panel does not work. Even when I turn on the light. Day and night mode on the display is normally switches from light to dark as turning on or off of the lights.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if it worked before the update because I update to 3.4 right after retrofit. The Apim was version 2.2.
On Ford Transit 2015 2.2 dtci has never sync 3. That was up from 2016 on engines 2.0 that have a slightly different wiring and BCM.
To Apim I uploaded Asbuilt from another transit with syn3 with a few modifications to fit my car. I also had to set the time display from APIM not from BCM because it was otherwise displayed as --/–
The Apim was after the update DTC U2100 that disappeared after overwrite Asbuilt.
On ACM is
DTC U2101 incompatible configuration probably because it has cd drive but Transit not. There is no slot on the dashboard to insert CDs.
DTC B1D55 Antenna # 2 open circuit. There is the only one antenna, so the connector on the second antenna is free.
I do not know if it is possible to cancel these errors by changing configuration, but if not I can live with that.
My problem is the backlight of the control panel.
