Hi friends! I just upgraded from sync 2 to sync 3, everything was fine until I ran into a problem with the multimedia commands on the steering wheel.
These do not work (volume controls, voice commands, and change song), I check the screen connector since pins 46 and 47 carry that information on the sync 3 branch, but they were well placed so I’m lost. Anyone have any idea what might be happening?
the vehicle is a fiesta titanium 2014
You will need to update your AsBuilt via FORScan. Doing a SYNC 2 → 3 upgrade is not plug and play.

However you will likely need to modify certain settings that are specific to the Fiesta. I’m not too familiar with doing SYNC 2 → 3 upgrades but I believe there are others on here that can also help.
Run the APIM Interrogator Tool and post the results here. It’s probably just a setting that needs to be adjusted for your vehicle.
