I have an original 2017 Ford Galaxy with SYNC 3 v2.3.17109 and EU navigation maps F6.1. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto no longer connect; phones still charge via USB. A USB Interrogator log was generated successfully, but Syn3 Updater 2.14.2.0 reports:
“The XML file you have selected does not contain the expected output. Syn3 Updater has determined you are on 2.3.17109 and may be using overlays. Syn3 Updater is unable to determine the configuration of your APIM.”
Several APIM model / configuration values are Blank in the XML. I prepared an autoinstall for re-installing the current EU packages with the HB5T-14G387-AAB overlay removal script, based on the CyanLabs community example. I have NOT installed it.
Would you confirm whether the attached autoinstall.lst and package combination are safe for this APIM, or advise how to identify the exact hardware first? My goal is to restore CarPlay / Android Auto and if safe update to SYNC 3.0.23219, without reformatting to 3.4.

Please confirm whether this procedure is safe for my APIM. My target version is 3.0.23219.

I successfully generated a USB Interrogator XML file, but Syn3 Updater 2.14.2.0 cannot identify my APIM configuration. It reports blank APIM values and possible overlays on SYNC 2.3.17109.
I will attach the Interrogator XML and the prepared autoinstall.lst to the support topic. Please confirm the correct and safe procedure before installation.
