Hello I’m really struggling to update my sync 3.3 to 3.4, I’m a non-NAV unit if I upload my spec would anyone be able to download the correct files for me and send them to me on here?
Run the APIM Interrogator Tool in the Syn3 Updater, Troubleshooting page, and post the results here. Redact your VIN in the report. Once we know what you have we can suggest the correct files.
Short answer is no, no one is going to do that FOR you.
What are you struggling with?, process is pretty straight forward if you configure the tool right.
Should I use auto detect or reformat?
Please do not @ me, if I do not respond is because I have a life and I have to work, this is something I do on my spare time.
What issues are you having?
Pictures look ok, until now you said you were struggling but did not mention with what.
Also, use a single connection instead of 3, and yes, always use autodetect, let Syn3Updater choose the best method.
And also, it’s always recommended to use a quality branded USB stick (no HDD), and from the looks of it it seems yours is somewhat generic.
I used this USB on my kuga so it 100% works, I’ll try what you said about the connections. I’m new to this I’m not sure how I @ you I just replied ?. My bad was just sending a follow up question, not because you didn’t reply

What I meant is that you posted the pictures, and after some time you posted again replying to me.
Don’t worry, we check the forums on our spare time, posting multiple times or bumping a thread won’t help (actually, the opposite).
Now, let me be very clear about something: this is the 3rd time I’m asking what your issue is, and you are not giving a response.
So here’s the question one more time: what is your issue? What are your struggling with? What’s failing?

If nothing happens with this one, you may not have enough free space for this procedure.
If that’s the case, you will need to remove gracenotes.
But since you already created the USB, try it and see where it goes. If nothing happens after some time, you will need to to that f150chief said: create and run an interrogator log and post the results. If there’s low free space, toy will need to remove gracenotes before upgrading, you can add it again after upgrading.
Yeah once again nothing happened. Should I just say no to grace notes when it gives me the options of what packs to download?
