I currently have 23088 and I have to downgrade

I want to upgrade to 23188, but apparently I have to downgrade first. I saw a forum that said I have to downgrade to 19025, but the oldest one I can find on the updater is 19052. Will that be ok to use?

sharing some explanation as to why you need to downgrade would help no?

I saw that I cannot go right to 23188 from 23088. Is that incorrect? My 23088 does not remember settings or bluetooth phone and restarts at screen that asks questions.

If you are not installing maps, you don’t need to downgrade. but if you are having memory issues you may need to run the RWDataCleaner tool and fix that

Thank you, I did two soft resets, then one master reset, then ran the RWDataCleaner tool, and I have my radio back. Should I now update to 23188 so it doesnt happen again, and if so, can I do it directly from 23088, or do I have to downgrade first. I do have nav.

You can go to 23188 directly from 23088, all you need is the 3.4.23188 app file and use autoinstall method.
