I downloaded the wrong Sync 3 software update

I have a 2018 F150 with Sync 3. This is a 4" screen with double row of buttons on either side of the screen. This is not a touchscreen. I installed an update that was for a larger screen. Looking for the correct update for the Sync 3 unit that I have. Thank you!

Hi.

You need to install package NU5T-14G381-BB which is 3.4.22251 for the 4" screen. You can’t use Syn3updater to update the unit, Syn3updater is for 8 inches.

Thank you for your response. I went back to the website and I am not seeing anything else but the Syn3updater. If Syn3updater is the wrong system for my 4" screen, what is the correct system to use?

You will need to manually create the USB, NU5T-14G381-BB is also a link, if you click it you will be redirected to the package download page, you can download the appropiate autoinstall.lst file from that page as well…

Then, you create the USB by placing the .lst file in the USB’s root and the package inside the SyncMyRide folder, like any other Sync3 update.
