Interrogator XML File could NOT be read

I’ve used Sync3 Updater to create an Interrogator Log USB for my Sync 3 2.2.16280.
I plugged it the car, waited for “instalation finished” dialog to pop up then plugged it back to laptop and opened the XML file in the Sync3 but it resulted in the error.
All I’m trying to do is to check how much free space my non-nav APIM have but the output XML file does not even have /images part.
The file that Sync3 used to create the tool is: GB5T-14G386-AA_56065.tar.gz
which according to THIS tutorial is the correct file.

There is no log file connected to the creation of interrogator tool.

The interrogator file for your unit is correct. The Sync 3.0 pre-18.5 (MY 2018.5) logs are formatted differently from Sync 3.2+. Open the xml file in a browser usually works.
The log shows:

This is the first time I see APIM with 3GB size. I was just about to update my Sync to 3.4 tomorrow but it looks like I won’t be able to?! Really?
Also, why is none of this mentioned in:

As far as I know, your APIM is 8GB, not 3GB.
You should be able to upgrade, but may not be able to install gracenotes.
Wait for confirmation if you want to.

Right, so why does it say “13MB free” tho? Is it just ignoring other partitions or what?
Would the xml output be any different if I updated to the official version (from Ford’s website):
SYNC 3.0 3.0.20204?

Your NON-NAV APIM, HP5T-14G371-BCA, has 8GB of total storage space. The log indicates there is 2.6GB used for the files stored on it, with 13MB left over in those partitions. When you reformat the unit to go to Sync 3.2+ (or MY18.5+) the storage is redefined. You have plenty of space for the Sync app, voice files. If you want to maintain Gracenote, you will need to use a smaller voice file since the EU voice files are large.

No no that’s fine, I know I have to get rid of it, haven’t used it anyway.

One more thing - my car is Focus 2017 USA. Is there anything I should acknowledge before I update to 3.4 22110?
I understand that the USB media hub won’t be an issue because car’s production date is 07/2017 (it is a one-port hub)
A/C on-screen controls might be reversed.
Radio logos will not work, but calm screen will.
Anything else that I’ve missed? Any issues with Android auto maybe?

I would stay at 3.4.21265. You should be fine with all the other stuff you listed.
