Travel Link does pull down from the satalite. This is clear as Travel Link was available for SYNC 2 before TCU’s were a thing. It can use your phone with Sync 4 but it does not with Sync 3. The new ones that use 360L use the TCU and can use your Cell phone to get the travel link info for Sync 4.
Ok thanks for that info, I have a new APIM on order, because the one that I now have in my vehicle came from China and the number is counterfeit and that could be the reason that my travel link may not be working, because I have read on this site that other members say that their travel link is working…

no gps lost icon, NA, it came from California
I think I had this problem to and if I remember right it was fixed by adjusting the wheel clicks.

I looked up an asbuilt for 1 2017 Lincoln MKZ with Sync 3 from the factory. The specific vehicle values in the APIM are wrong. These values are used to determine the vehicle movement, along with GPS, for the nav. The values for 7D0-05-xx, 7D0-07-xx should be:

yes I loaded this from the old APIM because it was working good,but the new APIM came pre-programmed with some numbers as well…
but I have changed the numbers with the ones that you sent and so far it seems to working pretty good…
