I’m having issue unpacking the voice Nav getting red screen and when turning off the car and start again getting the insert flash screen again. Can any one help me plz as the screen is stuck on the same thing and when I try to update it getting the same issue again. Apricate your support.

Please, tell us more about the UNIT.
Which region is your car?, does it have NAV?.
Post the log of the USB creation, you can find it on the USB or in Syn3updater.
Also, do you have an picture of the red screen?. What error does it say?.
This will be a Sync 3 retrofit as 2014 F-150’s came with Sync 1 or 2, depending on the trim level.

There are a few things to point out.
A)
Do not use a disk or generic drive.
Try using a quality branded USB pendrive (not a disk not an sd card; a simple pendrive)
B) You are getting PKG_ERROR3.
Are you 100% sure the UNIT is EU?. Are you sure the car was not imported?.
This may be the case of installing EU maps on a NA APIM.
C) Your configuration is wrong, since your current and new version in Syn3updater are the same. To this specific case it does not matter, but according to the log you just wanted to reinstall the same build.

Thanks for the respond. I’m using PNY 128GB 3.1 any recomanded stick required and recommended with eg please.
The region of the APIM is EU sure about it.
I have tried alot to reinstall it again and again and also tried to switch off the map and voice files still getting the red screen.
Is there any way to reset the devices so I can get the old version and try to update it again? as I unable to pass the insert the USB stick screen .
Ps: the error only occurs during extracting the voice map. The map extracting have passed.
Install only the app and system voice file. DO NOT install the maps and see if you can recover the unit.
As f150chief said, let’s try recovering the unit first, since the symptoms you are describing seem to point a NA APIM trying to receive EU maps, or a faulty APIM.
This is what you need to do.
This will create an USB that will only upgrade the Sync3 system, and will not install maps.
Once the unit is recovered, create an interrogator USB and run it against the unit. Then post back the information it gives, redacting your VIN if you care about that.
By the way, the brand you are using seems ok, we have another users that successfully used that brand before.

i would really like to thank you for the advise that seems to be working fine. done have you mentioned by disabling the map files. and the files have been downloaded successfully without any fail in the log. installed it in my vehicle. it passes the map extracting direct to the voice to the Gracenote’s and finally enhance DAB package which gave me a successfully green screen. I really apricate your support thank you.

Please, create an interrogator log and run it against the unit.
I doubt you have an EU unit, since it would not had failed otherwise.
The interrogator will tell us information about the APIM.
If my suspicion is right, you should be installing ROW (rest of the world) and not EU, but then again, run the interrogator log and post the results.

That’s not what we are asking for.

There are no maps loaded. Please post the Interrogator file. We can’t really help without knowing the health of the APIM. It is most likely you have a 32GB APIM, so the EU maps will not fit, but a subset will.
Since you are in the Middle East, do you want maps of that area specifically or elsewhere? EU maps do not cover Middle East (GCC). Those will be ROW GCC. Those maps will fit without issue. Let us know what you want to do and we can help.

the APIM was purchased and shipped from Ukraine and since i installed it on my car the map don’t show up because I’m in a different region which is the middle east. i need to install middle east maps is it possible to do that with my APIM EURO region ? if yes how?

This is correct. You have to set the region via FORScan. Also, you must set the map type to NNG from TeleNav, as the maps are not the same format. Instructions are in the tutorial posted above. The ACM settings are optional.
Then update the APIM via the Syn3 Updater, set for the appropriate region, in your case “Central America, Caribbean, India and Sri Lanka, Israel, Middle East, North Africa, South Africa, South East Asia”
