I was going to say something like that. Everything seems ok, but Gracenotes is missing and 4.3GB for a NA NAV APIM is a bit low considering gracenotes is not installed based on the log…
I wonder what would happen if you actually try to create an autoinstall for JUST gracenotes…
By the way, is a gracenote version displayed in the about sync3 section ?
How would something else get “installed” that isn’t supposed to be there. Upon checking, I’ve had this update in my car since November, but not until now have I experienced these problems. No USB has gone into my car, 2 weeks ago I had gracenotes, now I don’t.
Another user on another thread mentioned that he lost his gracenotes as well. (He used the OTA update)
OTA will always put you back to the version FORD says you need to be, which is not 3.4.22251 for your vehicle. Every time you install the new version it will get reverted by OTA.
No, you are right. I did not think they released this out yet to the public, but looks like they did. So you are good.
By the way…the APIM is original to the vehicle.

The APIM asbuilt looks ok also.
Did you run a FORD packaged update on the vehicle when you updated to 3.4.22251? They delete Gracenotes first thing and install it last. So if the update had any issues you will be missing GN.
I would try installing gracenotes.
If your issues are because of an incomplete installation, that should solve it.
If your issues are not solved, Ford will look at them.
If there’s a HW issue, installing (or trying to install) gracenotes WON’T solve it.
If you succeed, perform another master reset once gracenote is installed, and recreate the interrogator log.
Yes, do it that way. It will create an autoinstall USB with just gracenotes.
Has appeared to have worked. Most issues solved, just waiting for SXM Logos. Shows a gracenotes version. Do I attempted to downgrade now to get off this build? I dont want to be on it if I do not have to…
There we go.
Notice that even though the gracenote package is now listed, the free space has not changed. So there was some corruption with the previous install.
Disable WIFI just to be safe.
That’s up to you, but that build is not “cursed” or something like that.
But should you decide to change builds, you can go to whatever version you want.
Just keep maps and all installations will be auto-installs.
And since your unit is not MY20, you can even reformat it.
If your issues are solved now, is there a reason to leave this build?.
This build was fine for 3 months, then issues arose without OTA or me plugging a usb inside. What are your thoughts ? Gracenotes “disappeared” without me doing anything… and it took from november to march for this to occur.
If you do not have issues, I would not mess with it anymore.
I can’t explain why you had those issues, but I would disable WIFI and see how things go.
By installing Gracenotes you didn’t overwrite any sector Sync3 already had written (except gracenotes, of course).
And also, it’s the first time I read (or at least that I remember) that someone looses a package from an installation, but of course, I could be mistaken.
