I have recently been told about this update system. Upon purchasing a 32gb USB drive. I decided to give it a go. I entered my current system settings and build. Selected my region and clicked that i required sat nav.
The next screen i selected my USB drive as location. Selected the latest 3.4 build and the part that had maps. It never gave me the option to keep old maps. It gave me all other builds that said something about being locked.
I clicked start and everything started to download. Very quickly though. I thought it was a bit to fast to be honest. I plugged my USB into my car and begun the update. Ran back to my computer when prompted to press ok.
Nothing happened.
I decided to try the process from scratch but now it wont let me click start.
So i am confused on how i can start the process again. I want to keep current maps but it wont give me this option

My car is a 2019 Ford Mondeo. Visiting the Ford dealers site it only has one update available and that’s still on 3.0 just a different build.
If I can start the whole process again from scratch that would be amazing if someone could tell me how.
