I updated the maps for my Focus 2017 to version F10, but somehow I don’t have the voice files installed. I would like to install them, but can this be done without installing the maps again? I tried it by disabling the nav-files, but that doesn’t seem to work.

The log you provided is for installing gracenotes, not voice files. So it not working is expected.
Create the USB correctly and try again, should be an auto install.
Thanks for your answer. When I create the USB again, is it possible to just install the voice files, because even when I switch of the maps they are still copied to the usb.
Yes, you can.
But since you already installed maps, if you select “keep existing maps” it won’t give you the chance to select nav_voices.
Assuming you need to install nav voices and not voices, what you need to do is to create the USB like a normal upgrade WITH maps. Then, from the packages selection at the bottom, you only leave voice_nav selected.
Ok. Sounds logical. I followed the steps and it all went fine. But when uploading the XML file it gave me a error:
"The xml file you have selected does not contain a valid "ECU Delivery assembly number. Therefore Syn3 Updater can not determine if this is a MY20+APIM or not.
I think something went wrong yesterday. I retried today, and was forced to also enable the apps package otherwise it would give an error. So I selected that, after that it took quiet a while before my usb-drive was ready. There are 4 big files (about 8 gb) now on the usb-drive. I assume these are all needed? (In that case I can try the install when I am longer on the road).
Good call, I forgot about that. Depending on some variables, that error will be displayed.
But until we see the logs and where we stand right now, this is me
You have not installed the Sync system voice file. All of the maps and nav-voice files are installed. Since you have Sync 3.4.21265 loaded, you need the 5U5t-14G391-AP installed.
I did the update of the nav-voice files as mentioned, and the process went just fine. But after the last reboot I got a “Navigation Error”. I did the master reset as required but that makes no difference. I also don’t see the Map version (F10) anymore. Looks like the maps have disappeared…
This is the last time i am going to ask for LOG FILES! each action done with Syn3 Updater generates log files, provide them or this thread will be closed.
If I wanted to do guessing games I would have become a magician…
