Those are āLost communications with the seat moduleā DTCās. I got the same DTCās because my truck sits for a while and the battery goes below 11.5 VDC, which will start power shed or āDeep Sleepā in the F-Series and other models. If these keep coming back, there is another issue.
Make sure your battery is charged and holding at least 12.5 VDC. You may have to reset the DSM in FORScan.

Try running the -AD version of the interrogator file. Just change the names in the autoinstall.lst file. The file you posted did not format properly.

The battery is holding a charge, is there a way I can downgrade back to sync 3.0? I find it odd that this problem would start occurring when I upgraded the sync version and it not be related to the update. I never had an issue or an intermittent issue before this upgrade.
I can try running the interrogator file on Sunday and update the thread
And since itās both seats Iād think it to be a software issue moreso than a hardware issue.
You cannot go back to Sync 3.0, but you can go to Sync 3.3.19052, which is close to Sync 3.0.20204 in look and function. This can be done with the Syn3 Updater. All you need to do is downgrade the Sync app.
Jacob, did you modify your car in the past somehow? Or is it stock?.
Also, you seem to know about as-built and some personalization you can perform on Fords. Have you modified something in that regard in the past?.
As said before, try 3.3 to see if it makes any difference.
If it does, there may be something about 3.4 which is very specific to your car.
But even so, you could try different 3.4 builds to see if thereās one that keeps that working for you.

Another thing to try is to reload the ORIGINAL factory asbuilt for the APIM with FORScan. You can find it at Index - FordServiceInfo.Com (motorcraftservice.com). Enter your VIN and download the .ab file, place it in the FORScan āasbuiltā folder. From FORScan you can then load the entire asbuilt to bring the APIM back to stock or correct the asbuilt in case it was corrupted by the update.

I will try this then update the thread. I have made a few changes to the APIM with forscan before the update so definitely worth a try.
So I confirmed my APIM as built matches my current APIM configuration. Still no luck. How exactly do I downgrade my sync version? Iām looking at the syn3updater ācar configuration pageā do I choose the version I want to install or the current version on the truck, at the top where it says āfull versionā the wording makes me think that needs to be my current version.

Try setting your current version there, and when creating the new one, select the 3.3 available as target/desired one, and keep maps (to avoid a full install with reformat)
Once thatās done, in the package selection exclude all but APPS.
That should give you an autoinstall installation methodā¦
Should I try going to the highest available 3.4 first? Iām currently on 21194 and there is one more available; 21265. Or should I skip that and try downgrading to 3.3? Appreciate the input

Downgrading to the only 3.3 version available. I have a question, if this 3.3 doesnāt work. Is there a reason I canāt download the latest available update from fords website to bring me back to 3.0?

Well, downgraded to 3.3 and still no function from the seat buttons, still have APIM codes on the DTC, they come back after resetting. The difference with 3.3 is I have intermittent ability to tap the buttons on the screen and get an audible response from the touch but then the screen goes grey and doesnāt allow and changes to be made or any function from the lumbar or massage settings. Itās a bit hard to follow you, since you are basically sending new messages one after the other, talking to your self.
Why didnāt the upgrade to the latest 3.4 work?
What happened?.
About 3.3, itās a good starting point since itās closer to 3.0 than 3.4 is.
But since you only need to change APPS, you can go back and forth.
Did you perform a master reset on 3.3?
Try unplugging the battery for 30 minutes to force the moduleās reboot. Also, clear al DTCs.
