Hi all,
I installed a CarABC Sync 3 retrofit kit with navigation in my 2015 F-150. It originally had Sync 1 and no factory nav. Everything works except the nav position, which starts on position that as I drive it gets further and further from where the truck really is (several km after 10 mins of driving). I think the APIM AS-Built has the wrong vehicle-specific data, and I’m hoping someone can help me get the right values.
The truck is 2015 F-150 SuperCab, 6.5 ft bed, 4x4, 5.0 lt . Tires are 275/60R20 (about 2,633 mm circumference). VIN 1FTFX1EF4FFA27037
What I’ve found so far*
- The AS-Built CarABC sent me is the truck’s stock file for my VIN. Its 7D0 section only goes up to 7D0-03-01, so there is no 7D0-04 through 7D0-09. I have NOT loaded it on the module.
Questions
- Could someone check (or build) the correct 7D0-03-01, 7D0-05, 7D0-06 and 7D0-07 values for a 2015 F-150 SuperCab 6.5 ft 4x4 with 275/60R20 tires? I’m especially unsure about the tire circumference and the wheel ticks per revolution.
- In 7D0-03-01, should I have wheel tick frequency 0 (20 ms), drivetrain 03 (4WD), and GPS antenna mount 1 (dash mount, non-heated windshield) since my antenna is a puck on the dash?
- Is there anything else in the APIM config I should check, such as the gyro setting in 7D0-06-01 or 7D0-02-02?
