Might be a dumb question but did you plug in the power adapter into your hub that adapts the old power connector to the new one?
Since you have two hubs, are you replacing the primary hub which has two USB plugs plugged into it or the secondary which has one USB plug plugged into it?
If you replaced the primary hub, then your secondary hub is inoperable. You can buy another carplay compatible hub that has the connections to make your secondary hub operational.
