Are there major changes that are new in the latest version or can I Leave the version to the one I am at this moment?

Nothing major, but I would go to the latest.
Weather you upgrade or not itā€™s your choice, you do not need to do anything lets say (not even upgrading maps), it all depends on what you want.
Personally, I would finish what youā€™ve started.

About 40-45 minutes per section (guesstimation)

Or you can do as I said before, restart it from the second section and plan for about 1:20-1:30 hoursā€¦

You can also do the 2 remaining sections one at a time, so 2 40 minutes drivesā€¦

Way from work to home is about 45 minutes. So I have to park the car after Iā€™m home and let it run till itā€™s finish

So yesterday I did the method starting from the second section, so at the auto install I erase the first part. It all went fine, my system is at the newest software. Thanks a lot. But, here is a little problem. Unfortunately my maps are still at F10 so they donā€™t update. The question now is why did that happen and what can I do about it?

Recreate an interrogator log and post back the results, letā€™s see whatā€™s on the unit.

You are close, thereā€™s a single MAP file that has not been installed.
Create a new autoinstall.lst file with this section:

[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
Item1 = MAP - 1U5T-14G421-BAK_1682464992000.TAR.GZ
Open1 = SyncMyRide\1U5T-14G421-BAK_1682464992000.TAR.GZ
Options = Delay, Include, Transaction

You are missing that file, the one installed is from the older release (-BAH)

That should fix it.

Iā€™ll do that tomorrow. Than I will response later. I wonder why that file isnā€™t installed. I have configurate the USB stick with the newest map in the tool. Vary strange

Autoinstall installation method is not perfect, in fact we always recommend reformatting the unit when upgrading maps, but you cannot do thatā€¦ hence this try and errorā€¦

But thatā€™s the single file that you should install, other stuff looks ok.
Why did that fail?, not even Ford would knowā€¦ Maybe something with the USB drive or something like that, since itā€™s an intensive operationā€¦ plus, the file is really bigā€¦

Do it as you want, since you already have all the files editing the file seems faster, but sure, you can do that as well.

So more than one hour of driving but not finished with install. How long does it take to upgrade the Europe map? Will it resume installing after I restart the car or do I have to begin again?

It depends what you are trying to install.
Did you create a USB for installing the only package missing?. That file Iā€™d quite big, but I think it should not take more than an hour.
