Problem displaying the GPS speed limitation signs on the dashboard

Hello everyone, I updated the sync3 GPS map to F14 on my Ford Focus IV and I have a problem, so on roads that have gone to 90 km/h on the GPS, the speed clearly indicates 90 km/h, however the speed signs indicated on my dashboard are 80 km/h and not 90 like the GPS. I have had this problem since F13. Do you have a solution to this or do you also have this problem? Thank you for your answers.

Hello.

From what you are saying, it seems there’s some kind of discrepancy between the actual limit and what’s displayed on the map. If that information started diverting after a map update, you can go back to your old map release.

Or you can try the latest “F14” package that’s been available for a few days now, it will still report as F13 though, but maybe that’s fixed.

If the vehicle has TSR enabled in it, the dash will show what the IPMA picks up from the road signs.

If the vehicle IPC is set to use the factory NAV info it will display what is in the map database.

To use an example, I’ve got a road close to me that goes from 35mph to 45 mph and then 3/4 of a mile later drops back down the 35mph. Cluster set to TSR shows the right speed even though the map is incorrect, this is the reason why the factory APIM setting for displaying the NAV speed on the home screen is disabled if the car has TSR.
