Requesting VBF Files for Ford Expedition 2021 APIM (LU5T-14G371-BNC)
I need the following .vbf files to restore my Ford Expedition 2021 XLT Max APIM (US Market, Non-Navigation, Part Number: ( LU5T-14G371-BNC ) to factory settings using FORScan:

Calibration: 1U5T-14G375-CA.vbf
My APIM has a black screen after a failed update. Can anyone share these files? Thanks!

Black screen now & usb ports unavailable 😞 , ( i need .vbf files above so i can make my apim programming by Forscan )

Can anyone help. Need vbf files for my apim LU5T-14G371-BNC

These are not .vbf files, they are .tar archives.
NU5T-14G381-AD is Sync 3.4.23188. Available by just following the link.
1U5T-14G381-EA is an older 4" screen version of Sync 3 v3.2.17182 30.06.2017.
You cannot interchange these files as they are for different hardware.

From your descriptions, the APIM is bricked somehow. If the USB ports are not responding, you will not be able to even use the FMods universal reformatter for the MY20+ APIM’s.

Did you reformat this APIM?

Thank you for your response,
I did a module reset plus i tried to programming apim by fdrs but a comment appeared (4u5t-14g381-an ~~~ should be nu5t-14g381-ad)which means the voice files failed in programming process, while other files successfully done, now i need (NU5T-14G381-ad.vbf)so i can program it by Forscan offline.
Thank you Chief i appreciate your effort hope you help me please

NU5T-14G381-ad - SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs

You don’t program Sync app files via FORScan or IDS/FDRS. Use an autoinstall file to load via USB.

I downloaded it previously, the problem is Forscan needs the same file in (.vbf) format which is the file (NU5T-14G381-ad.vbf) , the problem is both fdrs and Forscan failed in (NU5T-14G381-ad.tar)
Thank you Chief.. hope you help me

You don’t program Sync app files via FORScan.

First, does your screen and USB’s work? If so…Go to the link:
NU5T-14G381-ad - SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs

Download the file.
Download the autoinstall file.
Format a thumb drive exfat, MBR.
Place the autoinstall.lst file in the root of the USB.
Make a folder on the USB called SyncMyRide.
Place the -AD file in that folder.
Place that USB in the USB hub in the vehicle with the vehicle running and wait for the process to finish.
Reboot Sync, it will do this on it’s own.
Once it is rebooted, perform a Master Reset.

Situation is now :
Black screen and usb ports unavailable ( don’t work ) , i tried it by usb several times  no way
Thank you Chief :folded_hands:t2: hope a hand of help :hand_with_fingers_splayed:t2:

i also tried to extract unzip ( NU5T-14G381-ad ) to get ( NU5T-14G381-ad.vbf ) inside it , i couldn’t because it is hard to do

From what you say this APIM is bricked. But a module reset and programming in FDRS would not cause this unless you changed the firmware and that didn’t go right, or you reformatted the APIM via the Ford reformat file. Either way, the module is bricked.

You do not extract the files; it will not work as you need the signing included in the packages.

You could try to rescue the unit via the FMods tools. Other than that, reloading or updating the firmware might bring it back but not guaranteed.
