Yes, but it did not work. I set everything to how I wanted. Turned the truck off. Waited an hour, I went to start the truck, all those settings were back to default.
I’m done messing with it. I’ll update you all after I go to the dealer on Thursday.
I was able to fix the issues with help from @F150Chief and @SaNdMaN. All I had to do was only put grace notes on my flash drive, nothing else but the grace notes package. I installed it and everything was fixed instantly. It’s been a little less than 24 hours since I did this and everything is working perfectly (minus xm logos appearing, I’ll give it a few days before looking into it).
I did, exact same issues as you. Somehow gracenotes and the settings issues were connected. Don’t ask me why, we have no idea. However, it worked. Since grace notes wasn’t appearing on my system, I was told to only install grace notes, nothing else. And this fixed everything. It’s worth a shot, it won’t make anything worse, which is what they told me. 5 minute install, everything fixed.
Only do this if grace notes isn’t installed I guess.
This is where all this took place, give it a read.
Mine had same issues, just happned few day ago
Sync 3 didn’t remember all settings, included bluetooth with paired phone before!
The gracenotes still available 1.1.1.2325. Do I need to change gracenotes for fixing?
After reading review, look like the troubles come from chip eMMC
I just removed gracesnotes, disable navigation and return to sync 3.3 to reduce load for eMMC and now all back to normal
Just waiting more few days to see what happens more
I am having the same problem from the original post. Did an update over Wi-Fi and sync forgets settings. Any advice would be great. Was perfect before the Wi-Fi update.,
This is the log. If you want the actual file that was created on the USB let me know. I did try downgrading to 3.3.19052 but I still have the problem with sync not remembering settings after restart.

Yep, sure enough the issue is the /fs/rwdata/ = 0 / 1.2G = FULL.
A reformat would fix this but since the APIM is MY20 you cannot reformat it. There is not workaround that I am aware of at this time, as even trying a JB would not work because the mod tools will not save. I suggest taking it in for service if it is still under warranty.
Thank you. Yeah it’s out of warranty. I will just probably deal with it for now because I don’t really want to spend the money to fix it at the moment. Thank you for the help!
I posted earlier in this thread, but seem to have resolved my issue for now.
2017 Edge, Europe.
Used the reformat tool quite some time ago, updated to 22251 around christmas.
But recently (last two weeks), I had the same issue with the unit forgetting the settings.
Found this thread, Interrogator utility came up with no free space in /fs/rwdata.
Had a hard time downgrading to the last 3.3 version, unit came up with the VER_ERR08 error. Last stick I made with the utility was a forced downgrade, which went through successfully.
I have just finished a fresh reformat and installation of the lastest 3.4 version, and now have roughly 900M free in /fs/rwdata.
I will regularly check if that folder is running full again - could it be an issue with the 22251 version? The VER_ERR08 and the lost settings came up in a couple of places in the search.
