Dunno. Iāve seen a few of these but this one has the connector offset from center. Doesnāt mean itās not one Ford would use. However, it does have the proper connector.

Thatās a LJ6T-18B995-FC screen, offset connector. This is a Sync 3 MY20 screen.
The LB3T-18B995-AA screen has the connector in the center. This is a Sync 4 screen.
So the screen is legit, but is a Sync 3 screen.

Thatās amazing that you were able to figure that out about the screen. Thank you! Now I have to decide whether to keep the kit and just get a new APIM or just get an old screen. I personally have only seen this new screen, so I donāt know if it is actually that much better than the standard 8 inch screen.

May I ask why the k series is better than the j? Iām sorry, Iām new to all this.
The K series is the last version you can format before they went to 2020+ APIMās. It has better hardware and is a bit quicker. It is the first version to actually have the hardware for HS4 and Sirius x40. Probably other things I am forgetting.

Just wanted to post an update. I did order the screen and APIM I listed above. I appreciate everyoneās help and appreciate future help to get this programmed for my truck when I get it in. With a side question while Iām waiting. The LJ6T-18B995-FC screen that has the offset connector appears to be from escapes and has a outer shell over it. The one from my kit didnāt have this and leads me to think that you could purchase the screen and remove the outer shell. Thoughts? Iām planning on just using the screen with the one I ordered, just wondering for future reference. Thanks!
You will need a mount for the screen. However, thatās a LJ6T-18B995-FC screen, offset connector. This is a Sync 3 MY20 screen, not a Sync 4 screen with the higher resolution. There is no benefit to using this screen over the normal standard flat screens. Below are the screens for Sync 3 in the F150ās.

So, if I understand correctly, even the screen that I received in the kit was not the new upgraded sync 4 screen as advertised? Also I have all the parts on their way. And my understanding, when I get the APIM I will need to connect it to the truck and upload a new as built file correct? Then I will need to update to the newest version of sync 3 and maps.
