I’m sorry I didn’t update last night like I said, I got preoccupied with something and let it slip my mind, but I did check and still no codes and everything seemed to still be working properly. I did make one change that I haven’t tried yet. I changed 7D0-09-04-XXXX-XXXX-0XXX to 7D0-09-04-XXXX-XXXX-2XXX in the APIM. Would this be correct to allow navigation in motion?
This will allow Nav and other features that are restricted to the driver to be available as long as there is a passenger in the front passenger’s seat. This works pretty well.
7D0-09-04-xxxx-xxxx-Xxxx
Climate Auto Seats (CAS), VR for Radio Tuner (Gen 4.1 radios only) [VRRT], Driver Restriction Passenger Exception (DRPE), Sync Help (SH)
2=CAS Disabled, VRRT Disabled, DRPE Enabled, SH Disabled
If you want the old nav in motion trick for unrestricted access, then you have to change the country code.
I’ll give it a try and see how it works out. The old navigation in motion is 7D0-02-01 5753 xxxx xxxx, correct? If I do the old navigation in motion, should I change the other back to stock?
You don’t need to flip back the passenger seat exception.
That setting applies to more than NAV, eg changing audio sources, etc.
In some models it doesn’t work unless the RCM sees weight on the passenger seat with the seat belt buckled.
The requirements are more than 35 pounds in the passenger seat (about), and seatbelt is secured. For other vehicle makes it may vary.
So far no codes, but ran into one issue. Before I started this process, I bought a subwoofer to add and I enabled it in the ACM and I had 12V power and 6V to the remote turn on to the factory subwoofer plug, but I was getting no audio, so I was going to tie into the front speakers for the high level inputs but was waiting until I got this sorted out. Now I have been trying to add the subwoofer and now I’m not getting power to the 6V remote turn on. I double checked the ACM and it is still showing that it is activated, but that is with the simplified version of the asbuilt. Is there something with the APIM that needs changed?
Post your ACM asbuilt…

I think I may have figured it out now. I think it may be an issue with the new harness. I think it’s missing the remote turn on wire. I disconnected it and plugged factory wiring back into the ACM and amp powered on. Looks like I’m going to have to learn how to add pins. @bill32399 Do you happen to know what kind of pins I need to get?
That will do it. The pins for the ACM and APIM are the same. If you have unused connections on the ACM or APIM you can steal from there. @bill32399 knows the info on these.
There is nothing in the ACM asbuilt that would affect this, but if the wiring is an issue, there it is. The asbuilt looks ok, just old radio.
I don’t know what kind they are. I just steal them from the tub of plugs I have. I know Oasis will show the plug type a lot of times but I don’t remember if it showed the Pin numbers also.
It does not show the pin numbers. However, the connector pigtail assemblies are in the Motorcraft Wiring Pigtail Catalog…https://www.motorcraft.com/content/dam/ford-motorcraft/en_us/motorcraft_global/products/electrical/2020%20-%20WPT200%20-%20Wiring%20Pigtails.pdf
WPT-1581 is the 26 pin connector for the ACM.
Just wanted to update. I ended up finding some pins in some old harnesses that I had laying around and got the subwoofer working again. With all the help and a little digging I think I did find which pins are needed in case anyone needs this info. Just took the truck on a long trip and everything seems to be working great. Thanks again! Here are the links to the pins that I think will work in the WPT-1581 harness.

Or just go hunting in a scrap yard and harvest pigtails from some donors
Thanks for the update and info…
