Sorry voice commands work for everything except Climate. If I try a voice command for Climate it says please use the physical controls. Performed a master reset as soon as installation was complete

Ok. You can try to re-install the voice package. This is not a common issue but it happens.

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Create a USB drive (format as EXFAT) with a SyncMyRide folder.
  2. Copy the utility file downloaded above into the SyncMyRide folder.
  3. In the root of the USB is the autoinstall.lst and DONTINDX.MSA files which you can obtain from any upgrade you previously performed.
  4. You will need to edit the autoinstall.lst file so it looks like the example below but replace ā€˜filenameā€™ with the actual file name you downloaded.

Options = Autoinstall

  1. Insert USB in vehicle and wait for the installation to complete. You should see a message indicating completion.
  2. Remove the USB drive and reboot the APIM

I am guessing you used the -CM file for language. If not, just use the file downloaded and change the autoinstall.

Well I reloaded the voice file but still get ā€œplease use the physical controlsā€ when trying voice commands. Since ā€œclimateā€ wasnā€™t on V3.0.19205 I suppose would need to enable in Forscan.

I checked this with the engine running, and everything works now. I feel a little dumb, because I know the rear window heater is a high-current draw, and should be disabled when the engine is off. Lesson learnedā€¦

On another good note, I had a problem with the display not darkeningwhen the headlights came on, and had to touch one of the dimmer buttons to force it to change. Now it darkens automatically, as Iā€™m sure it is supposed to do.
