@Louage might be able to comment on the Android phone observations, but I’ve seen these comments before relating to the permissions. I think it is a setting in the phone?
I’ve seen this complaint from more than a few folks concerning the resolution of the backup cameras in general. The resolution and light sensitivity is not great on these cameras, but this is not unique to Ford. It does have a lot to do with the image processing and the overlays used for the guide lines, etc. As far as the image guide lines, they probably look offset to one side or the other. If you ever had an alignment done on the truck and they did not pay attention to this, then your lines will be offset. It will look like this:
