Well that installed without event, i had to master reset to get Gracenotes to populate its details (as expected), Radio Logo’s work on DAB and FM, all controls work, screen is responsive.
I noticed that when you hit a certain speed now and the nav is on auto zoom it is delayed about 5 seconds before it transitions. Anyone else confirm this?

Are you saying that I can select and install just the apps package to apply the bug fixes, and leave all the other options unselected? Do any of the other options need to be installed in tandem with the apps package?
Due to having massive problems with a full rwdata partition, I really want to update to 23188 but when I tried to do a master reset before updating, it doesn’t work…
Shall I try to update my sync without doing a master reset? Any suggestions?
My systems was always started with AM instead of DAB. And always switching back to english. Master reset was not working as its hang when proceeding with the reset. Update to 3.4.23188 ended with error: VER_ERRO8.
The system had 0 byte free (/fs/rwdata/ = 0 / 1.2g)
So I was already desperate I need to go to the dealer. But then…

The I did again the update to: 3.4.23188 this time with succes!
I installed Apps only.
There’s a minor issue. Nav voice prompts often have a very brief silent pause during a word. Never had that before.
Did a Master Reset, possible slight improvement but issue still there.
Should I reinstall Nav Voice, or everything?
Sorry. My original post recorded an issue with the apps only update to 23188, which caused voice stuttering.
The replies were non-specific and needed clarification, which I still have not achieved, as they told me roughly what to do, but not how to do it
Another user has reported success and no issues when installing everything except maps.
So I will reinstall via that method.
Does anyone know if Ford will ever support third party cameras again? Unfortunately I can’t update anymore since 21194 because the camera on the back stays black.
And having to update and reinstall an old version every time is annoying.
Well so-far, so-good. Had a couple small hiccups along the way but it seems (fingers crossed) I was able to rid myself of 3.4.22251 and successfully updated to 3.4.23188. I used the MASTER RESET followed by 2 SOFT RESETS prior to inserting the stick. I was 99.9% sure the RWDATA was full, so I just went ahead and hoped the resets would provide enough memory for file acquisition for 23188.
EVEN MY CONNECTIVITY TO THE FordPass App RETURNED.
The ONLY thing still off is my Sirius labels. I’m hoping that will populate eventually.
I was freaked out initially cuz my ambient lighting wasn’t working. I had shut off the headlights during the update. Headlights on = Ambient lighting on
I’m hesitant to get to giddy with my joy cuz I know gremlins do reappear, but I’m hopeful. Anything is better than the dysfunctional 22251.
