Hi Guys, I tryed update my SYNC 3 from Version 3.0.17276 to 3.4.23188 and 3.4.23088 and 3.4.22200 but all of them after 10 minutes upgrade give this message: ERROR IN 4UST-14G421-DAJ_1727783760000.TAR.GZ.
Can anyone help me… please?

Does your vehicle have a NAV APIM?
ROW APIMS are usually 16GB, but the ROW map packages should fit. Any reason you are selecting a cut down ROW map package?

No I dont want ROW as i m located in UAE that what i selected map I got this vehicle recently purchased The guy who sold told me its having navi System I install non Navi upgrade it was perfectly working fine, but backup camera was not working when I purchased the car he said it needs sync update thats the reason I update with non navi update it was fine but still backup camera was not working that was the reason I updated with navi but its has completely stopped now. please help me

You have used up all the storage/memory on the unit so it will not respond. When you turn on the vehicle, what state is the Sync screen in?

Good, we can recover the APIM. Hold on…

Once you finish the recover, you will download the Interrogator Utility and run it. Upload the XML file here.

Reformat Boot Screen Recovery (Not Black Screen)

Read this document fully before starting any actions. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions as outlined below.

NOTE:
All the files needed can be found at Software Database - CyanLabs

Recover the APIM from a failed reformat installation.

Download Sync 3.3.19052, 4U5T-14G381-AN_1552583626000.TAR.GZ.

Make a usb formatted EXFAT with the following:

In the root of the usb, place the reformat.lst file.
reformat.lst (44 Bytes)

Create a SyncMyRide folder.

In the SyncMyRide folder, place file 4U5T-14G381-AN_1552583626000.TAR.GZ.

Insert USB in the vehicle Sync USB port and wait for the installation to finish.

At the GREEN screen, remove the USB.

Let the Sync unit reboot.

This will recover the unit to Sync 3.3.19052.

The Sync unit will only have the Sync app installed now, no voice files, maps, etc. At this point, you can now update or reformat the unit with the current Sync version with the appropriate files (and maps for NAV units). Use the Syn3 Updater and enter the current version as Sync 3.3.19052 along with your region information, etc.

(DO NOT USE REFORMAT ON 2020 AND ONWARD VEHICLES)
