Sync 3 Audio HELP

Just upgraded from sync 1 to sync 3 in my 2012 Ford focus. Everything works great except the only source I can get audio from is the radio. No audio from phone, USB, Bluetooth, Android auto, etc. Any tips?

I take it the unit was configured correctly?

Do you realise each source has it’s own volume control? Have you tried simply turning the volume up on each source?

Did you use a prewired kit? Sounds like wiring from the APIM to the ACM is not there for the Multimedia Gateway.

I bought all parts individually and then a wiring harness. This could be possible but would there also be other problems caused if there was no wiring between acm and APIM?

Possibly, but if you were missing the Multimedia Gateway wires, 1 pair, this would be the result.
Make sure you have the wiring to the APIM as indicated in the attached doc.

Thanks I’ll check it out. Which pin would that be? 31? And where would it connect to the acm?
