Sync 3 sound settings not saving

Hello All, I did a Sync 1-3 swap in my focus. The Apim is from a 2016 titanium with navigation. ACM is original. I used a AB for a similar model Focus with Sync3 and it worked all but the Sound settings and volume message does not pop up when changing volume. I am updated to the latest 3.4 at time of this post.

The APIM config is wrong for your car, the Ti has the Sony audio, you’ve got the basic audio.

This is something you fix with ForScan, its not a Sync problem.

I understand. I guess my problem is other than just copying Apim data with one from a similar year with Sync 3 I have no idea where to to start on what line to adjust to make the two be able to communicate. Any help would be good

You’re not copying directly APIM to APIM.

An APIM from a Ti will be expecting a Sony DSP and a XM radio capable ACM.
