Hey guys new here not completely tech savvy, seen a lot of good things about this on forums,. As I have tried the ford update and it won’t work .I’m unsure what I’m missing. My radio does not have the grace note version on it. I will post the logs in just a minute. also, this is a 2016 Ford F150.

Any help would just be great if like my radio to actually kinda work as it’s super slow no as or cp or maps

Also, what is your end goal?.

Would you like to stay with Sync 3.0 or go to 3.4? This is a key difference.

None of the Ford updates will get you there, unfortunately they have pretty much dropped support for updating the older APIM’s.

However, you can reformat the APIM to Sync 3.4 or you can just update the software as Sync 3.0. Either way will get you to AA/CP compatibility. Remember you need to change the USB hub to a newer model.

You got lucky becuse Ford said that 2016 hubs would need to be replaced. That has been the case also so you got a unicorn.
