Sync3 Settings not saving

Hi, just for context this is the 2nd time I’ve run into this issue within 12 months.

The first time I found this link and the update was successful: PU5T-14G386-BB - SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs

Fast forward 12 months and I’ve got the same issue with display settings not saving, radio station changing, wireless updates pop up everytime I start the car.

Is there another fix or will I be able to just upgrade to the latest version to fix this?

Install Type: OEM

Old SYNC Version: 3.0

New SYNC Version: 3.4

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
When using these files: PU5T-14G386-BB - SYNC 3 APIM Software (IVSU) Database - CyanLabs I get ERR05 but then it says Sync3 updating and complete.

You need to get out of that build, since its bugged.
All known methods are documented here → APIM Sync Settings Not Saving, VER_ERR08 Errors, Cannot Perform Master Reset or Upgrades/Updates (Solved)

If none of those work, we do not have anything else to recommend at the moment.

Do I try and update to the latest version as that contains the reformat file?
