HI,
I upgrade my 2016 escape sync3 nav from 1.0 15139 to 3.0 20204.
Voice button no longer works, “Voice recognition not active” message.
I have read that downgrading to v2.2 might fix this, but I have been unable
to loacte a 2,2 nav version that will work.
Is it possible to put together a 2.2 install from the ivsu database on cyanlabs?
The 2.2v that I found on the web just runs forever always showing “Updating System Software”. I’ve tried master reste many times.
I would appreciate any help.

it shows voice file jr3t-14G391-ce3.2-19056
which corresponds to item 3 on the ford 3.0 install.
I was surprised to see a 3.2 version number on this file.

So you are currently on 3.0.20204?.
Create and run a interrogator log against the unit and post back the results, redact your VIN from the file’s content and name if you care about it.

I upgraded to 3.4 and voice now works. When sync starts up, I get
the USB hubs not supported. Does this mean that Android auto will
not work without updating the hub. Thanks.
Oh ok, I assumed it was something related to the installation (that’s why I requested the interrogator log), but since you are on 3.4 that’s past and solved now.
A new HUB is required for Car Play, but Android Auto tends to be more forgiving.
So try it either way, if it works great. If not, you need to replace the HUB.
But I would upgrade your HUB either way to make that annoying message go away.
