Using the tool to update from 3.0.23219 to 3.4.20351, the update appeared successful. I’m new to the update game, and didn’t want to try further updates without hearing from experts.
I’m hoping please someone can suggest a path to allow the Navigation to work. Currently it says “Navigation Fault.. Navigation is not functioning properly. Please visit your dealer for service.” Please provide assistance Folks?

What is the model of the APIM? Run the Interrogator Utility in the Syn3 Updater and post the XML file here.

Unfortunately, perhaps the USB hub error may be causing a challenge - “USB hubs are not supported. Please remove.”

When inserted, the key produces the error “Installation Failed. Error Code: PKG_ERR04 Download files again and retry to install…” Note I did this, recreated the USB key. I downloaded “GB5T-14G386-AD_1606255780000.TAR.gz” based on the 3.4.20351 version number.

You didn’t install any maps. You have a NAV APIM with 23GB of space left.

You can use the Syn3 Updater to install the maps and latest version of Sync 3.

Forgive my newness.

I’ve looked up and down on the site, but I cannot find how to download Maps. I found the ‘license generator’ function (said it was going to be ~17Gb) and added it to my config settings. But I never saw the notation of the Maps in the syn3Updater “Maps Version” where it shows the Map. I only see “Non Nav APIM” in the pulldown. When I ran the USB generator function, it created a 2Gb dataset. Thank you for your assistance.

You also do not want 3.4.20351, its a buggy version.

You should be selecting either 3.4.21265 or 3.4.23188

CP works on 3.0, so if it was not working before upgrading you may need to replace the USB HUB.

though I had read the instructions at the beginning as expected, I did so again, to make sure I hadn’t missed something. Turns out I haven’t. The Map files are supposed to be there, though I cannot find a way to acquire them. If you have a tip, I’d love to correct the map issue. Where can I get them please? I assume I need to copy them into the pf86\cynlab directory..

About the hub, your current one will / should work for Android Auto despite the message, but upgrading the hub is required for Car Play…

But mainly, you should upgrade the hub just to get rid of that annoying pop-up…
